Good Quality product
I bought this unit a couple of years back to replace an older JVC Unit that wasn't loud enough anymore (the place I was living changed, not the receiver, and the watts were too low.) I really have had a good time with this receiver. Plenty of digital inputs for DVD, Video games, or whatever.

Great Sound and Good Price
I've had my receiver for several months and I'm very happy. I ended up with a new projection TV, DVD Player, Satellite System and receiver all at once so the break-in for all this equipment was a little overwhelming. Great sound, no customer support.
I've had this JVC unit for almost two months now, and am very happy with it. I have gotten used to its little quirks, and the sound is great and features are very good. Particularly is the speaker setup wizard. Makes setting up surround sound very easy.

I just installed this device to replace an older 5.1 receiver I had previously. It is quite a piece of hardware. JVC may mean quality but subpar planning
I've had this unit for a year and have no problems with performance. With 4 infinity speakers and a subwoofer it sounds great. The setup is fairly easy and running a DVD wired up to it sounds and looks great. Not a bad deal for the price.
