Audiovox JR-400 Remote Control

I bought the Jensen JR400 Universal Remote Control ($15 at WallyWorld) to replace the remote for my DISHNetwork system, which is slowly dying. The packaging for the JR400 states that it controls the DISH system,. It does, but only in limited fashion. The "Sleep", "Favorite Channel", "Scan", and "Exit" buttons HAVE NO FUNCTION (for TV or DISH). But, the biggest disappointment was the fact that, when looking at your Program Guide, you can't scroll through the programs a page at a time. Can you imagine going through 400 channels ONE CHANNEL AT A TIME. Oh, and remember that "Exit" button, the one that doesn't work? That's right, you can't escape the Program Guide, you have to select a channel to get out. When I called the 1-800 help line (should you NEED a help line for a remote control?) I was told that "some buttons just won't work." Oh, and the cheap, spray-paint looking finish, as well as the labels on the buttons are coming off after about 6 months of use, and as you might guess, because I don't like it it's not getting that much use. Avoid it.
