Audiovox SRWS-1000 AM/FM/Weather Radio

I couldn't understand why it did not come with an ac adapter but after reading the last review I think I know why (see "Hard to Use"). It was difficult to program but I think I got it to work, at least the weekly NOAA test signal set it off. I have yet to have a real weather emergency but one might be coming soon. I had a Realistic alert radio from Radio Shack a few years ago and I don't remember it being this complicated. I could have gladly done without the compass and the flashlight if they would have included the ac power adapter. But it is the lowest cost weather alert radio with the am/fm features and it does sound good.
