Pros Great function once you learn to program it

Cons No AC adapter, but found one through Harbor Freight that worked.

Recommended it? Yes

I bought this as a travel radio, and yes it can be a pain if you do not read the manual. However, if you learn to use it, it turns into a great travel radio.

I live in an active area of Ohio, and within a few weeks it announced warning before the local radio stations. It even came up with an Amber alert.
