Not worth it - even free, unless you're a technojunkie.

The Bottom Line:
Avoid like the plague, unless you love working with malfunctioning equipment.
The main problem with Jensen is twofold.
1. Their quality control stinks on ice, in my experience.
2. They've gone bankrupt, making it hard to correct anything coming in under problem #1.
At this point, about all you're going to find for Sirius receivers from Jensen are either remaindered First Gen units (and don't get me wrong, when they work they work darn well - it's keeping them working that's a bit of a problem) or returns that are, ummm, of dubious working status.
I bought one when Sirius started broadcasting - and I've got to warn you, once you've experienced 60 commercial-free music channels, you're not going to like going back to AM/FM. But about a week into owning this, I started getting 'cable error' messages sporadically, then they turned into a constant problem. The controller was great - but when the system itself wouldn't work I took it back, they couldn't get a replacement unit, so I traded for a different Sirius setup and have been quite happy since.
If you really think you've got to get one of these, I'd avoid it unless it was REAL cheap (like under $10-15) and warranteed like crazy. The second generation units are much better - and I'd recommend them over this one. (Even the other first gen units like the Kenwood and Audiovox are better, though their displays aren't as large.)
