The Bottom Line:
AVOID this unit. Spend $$ and go with Alpine.
Jensen - garbage and always has been. I tried this out because it was dirt cheap ($18.88 new in box). Installed easy, worked right away. Initially I was using it with my GM Monsoon Stereo System and there was this annoying crackling sound coming from the right speakers. I then upgraded my car stereo to a nice Blaupunkt. The crackling went away and static took its place. The install was checked and it was fine. Told by the store clerk that these units are being discontinued at their store (something City hint hint) because they got so many returns with similar complaints. The noise was so disturbing I yanked the system and went with Alpine - NOW YOUR TALKING!! The Alpine is awesome. My advice - spend the extra money and go with a name people respect, not one that typically sells at X-mart.
