JL Audio 10W0 10" Car Subwoofer

I bought the JL power wedge with 2 10' JL W0's for my Firebird. This is a great item if you have very little space but want a big sound. The speakers were powered with a Kenwood 600 watt amp and produced enough sound to keep me satisfied. If you are into the loud pounding sound of the DB Dragsters then these aren't the speakers for you.

The JL speakers seem to work the best in sealed enclosures. It doesn?t give you that deep bass, but it gives you a clearer sound because the speakers are able to ?bounce? quicker giving you a more direct hit with the music. The louder systems use ported boxes which make the cone extend farther giving it less time to return and hit again, thus giving you a more distorted sound. With the JL?s you have a clear direct sound that leaves you aching for more.

The JL W0's can be used in either a sealed, ported, or bandpass designs
