An Excellent Bargain
Pros
It's easy to set up and plays like a dream. What else can I say?
Cons
The remote is a bit on the light side and has too many buttons.

Yes
I got this for Christmas in 2005 and it has been working perfectly. I use it in my bedroom and have to put it in front of the TV because I'd be afraid it might break if I put the TV on top. It's very lightweight but it handles well. It plays Bootlegs and Japanese films no problem. I got Advent Children with the limited edition OVA; Last Order from Japan from somewhere else and it plays fine, but with other DVD players I tried them on, Last Order wouldn't work and Advent Children skipped quite a bit.
