Accurate and saved my rear a number of times.

The Bottom Line:
I would definately invest in this detector. I plan on upgarding to the laser diffusor very soon to add to my stealth.
I was coming home one night about 11:00 pm and was suddenly being tailgated by a ricer Honda with neon blue windshield washer squirters. It was a 2 lane back road to my subdivision. I waited till we crested a hill to downshift from 5th to 4th at about 60mph (45 mph limit)to smoke his rear, and hit the gas! Just as I topped the hill @ 70mph my K40 radar detector went of BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPP!!. I saw the police car about 1/4 of a mile away. My brights were on so I could see him and not the jackrear behind me. As I slammed the brakes the ricers headlights disappeard in my rearview. He thought I was messin with him I suppose. He then whipped around me just as we passed the police car on the shoulder. BLUE LIGHT SPECIAL BABY!!! He was busted and I laughed as I passed him being pulled over. A true story. Thanks K40!!
