Does not Inspire Confidence
Pros
Low cost dedicated multi-CD player Multi-disc shuffle mode. Remote control
Cons
Counter-intuitive design. Signal interference with other units. Noisy disc exchanger.
Recommended it?
No
The first unit I brought home was dead on arrival.
Completely non-functional.
The second unit I brought home after exchanging the dead
one seemed a bit flaky. I finally concluded that the player wants the first loaded CD to be #3 for some counter-intuitive reason. Upon trying to slide it back into my entertainment unit, I noticed it was about 1/8" too deep to fit due to the level control knob. Why this isn't flush-mounted or replaced with a simply up-down arrow control I'll never know.
The unit produces good sound, but in multi-disc shuffle mode produces a lot of mechanical noise when swapping.
If the unit is on, it produces enough interference to prevent me from receiving the on-air signal from VHF station 4.
Completely non-functional.
