Everyone's KLH reciever seems to be burning up. My cousin has had his for about 3 years now. His brother had the 2400 series and it burned. What he did was he upgraded to a 5100 series and place 2 fans on top of the reciever for more ventilation. He has had his 5100 for about 4 years now. I also had my own 5100 with the same ventilation and sold it last year. The trick to KLH recievers is to give them more than enough ventilation and they will sound great and last a long time. If you want ultimate quality, stop being cheap and save up for a Bose system. No hasles at all and it sounds amazing.
