Kensington Optical Elite Mouse
Pros
Very stylish, nice illuminated scroller, smooth scrolling, extra programmable buttons, good feel, left & right-handers
Cons
slightly "plasticky"
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
All in all this is a great mouse for the money, even if it does feel a bit "plasticky". It certainly rivals Microsoft's equivalent - the Intellimouse range.
The first striking thing about the Kensington Optical Elite Mouse is its very stylish and modern looks. The cool illuminated scroller is particularly attractive. The mouse has the standard features of any optical mouse in this price range - of course, the primary mouse button and the context menu button and a clickable scrolling wheel. However, a very welcome bonus feature of this mouse is that it has two side buttons that can be programmed by the user to perform such operations as copy and paste or opening the start menu or internet window. These are incredibly useful and although unusual at first, the use of them becomes second-nature in no time.
