Got it for my laptop, I travel twice with it to Africa, was very helpful in working with documents and moving between files. I had hard time with the laptop touchpad mouse but this one is great. Small and you can put easily in the laptop case.
Found it very helpful when in hotel and have small space to work around the laptop, used it on top of a book away form the computer and was still effective. Made my life easy.
The receiver USB end is a little bit big and you may not be able to use the other USB port, so you might need to get a USB hub if you use lot of USB gadgets.
Need to make sure you know how to shut the IR off when not using.
But for the its convince its is worth it.
