The Bottom Line:
Whether you pay $99 or $129, this stereo receiver is a great deal and should deliver clean, clear & crisp sound for years to come.
In the beginning, I wasn't even looking for this receiver. I was originally interested in an Aiwa model, but Circuit City was all out of them. Just because they were, they had a 2 day special on this Kenwood model. The sale price was an extremely low $99. At that low of price, there's no possible way I could of gotten the other Aiwa. The salesman explained to me that it had 100 watts of power for each channel, and also had an alternate set of speaker output (B) if I was in the mood for a little bit of "Surround Sound." All in all, this receiver gave me all I needed and then some. I hooked it up to our big screen tv with use of the Auxilery mode, and made our own "surround sound" system, along with a great CD and DVD player. The hookup was incredibly easy and only took a matter of minutes. The overall sound is unbeatable for the average user. The subwoofer output is a must have, and easily accessible. What a deal!
