Kenwood AR-304

My father and mother have supported Kenwood products for as long as I can remember...at least 25 years. Kenwood has been the electronic of choice for our family room. In the mid 1970's my father purchased a high end Kenwood receiver for his office that has incredible sound and separation to this very day. And he has gotten excellent service from it.

I purchased the AR-304 because it was a Kenwood, it met my needs for my bedroom and because it was a great value. The AR-304 performed beautifully for three years and one day just bellied up...I pushed the power button and nothing. I took it in for repair, told the repairman what I paid for it and he suggested that I send it to "receiver heaven"...lol. This is my first experience with a home receiver used under normal conditions to have such a short lifetime...needless to say I am a bit disappointed.
