The CD Jukebox!

Pros Holds 200 CDs
Cons List is a little high at $500.
Recommended it? Yes
The Kenwood CD-3280M is a 200-disc CD changer with CD text recognition. Most CDs today have encoded information that tells a CD player like this one who the Artist is and the name of each song. If you have any older CDs that do not have the encoded information than you can put it in manually. You can manually put in up to 20 songs per CD and use up to 15 characters to describe it. There is a keyboard input to make putting in the information easier with a keyboard. This information is very handy when you are scanning through 200 CDs because you can read the CD as you are searching.

This CD changer has dual transports, you will need a receiver that lets you hookup for multi-rooms to get the full benefit out of this. A dual transport CD player can play two different CDs at the same time, this makes it like it is two CD players. This is helpful if you wanted to listen to two different CDs in two different rooms.

This is a large unite so be sure you have room for one, remember it does hold 200 CDs. It is 17-5/16" in Width - 6-7/16" in Height - 18-7/8" Deep and weighs 19.8 pounds.

It is a nice looking unit with a silver front finish and it comes with an easy to use remote control.

Pros
You can use it as two CD players if you have the proper receiver.

The keyboard input makes it simple with a computer keyboard to label your CDs.

It will play a CD while you are taking one out or putting one in.

Placing your CD collection in one unit and never have to worry about taking them out.

Cons
The price is high at around $500 retail but you can find them for under $400 if you look.

Programming in the older CDs is time consuming.

The remote buttons are a little too small.

You can hear it when it is changing from one CD to another and it takes 10 to 20 seconds to make the change. (From a distance you can not hear it.)

It will not play Mp3 files.

Overall
This is a high-end product for the Kenwood CD players that is why it has features like dual transports that the lower priced ones do not have. This unit is for the person who wants it all in a CD player for the home.

The CD player is easy to use once you play with it for a while and the Kenwood quality stands behind it with a two-year warranty.

It takes a little bit to learn the features but, it is worth it, I highly recommend the Kenwood CD-3280M changer. (I call it a Jukebox.)
