Kenwood: Great and Reliable CD Player

Pros 40 sec anti-shock, looks great, plays well, 2 output ports, 2-4 battery option
Cons not much i can say here
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Gret, durable, reliable player. long battery life, no skip.
I bought this because I thought I was in dire need of a portable CD player. Turns out I just wanted one because *everyone* else has one. No matter what your reason, I highly recommend this Kenwood CD player.
I bought Kenwood over Sony because of their great reputation with quality audio products. And Sony seems to be a bit over-priced and out of range for me anyways.
I knew I would be using this CD player while on the go, so it would have to withstand being jostled around in my backpack all day without missing a beat. Obviously this calls for anti-shock protection, but I wanted GOOD protection, so 40 seconds seemed fit for my needs. It plays all audio CDs but sometimes had trouble reading the CDRs, it plays them when it feels like it i guess, luckily this does not bother me. But it may peeve some people so thought it would be a good point to make.
Another great feature is that it can run on either 2 or 4 AA batteries, and also has a port for your headphones and another for an output line. So if you and a friend are desperate for tunes, you can hook up two pairs of headphones and enjoy the music without having to look like siamese twins joined at the head sharing 1 set of earbuds.
There is a random, repeat, and random repeat play option. The bass boost sounds great for a portable device. And there is a hold switch to prevent accidental power on while not in use.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my CD player. It is heavy-duty, reliable and will last me a long time. Definitely a good purchase for the long run.
