I can hear for miles and miles.

Pros small, easy to use, calling alarm, clear reception
Cons Price is high end.
Recommended it? Yes
I have hunted for White Tail Deer for many years. I have seen hunters try to use walkie talkies without much success. Too little range and if you had one with decent range it was way too big. The Kenwood FRS radio cures both of these problems. Small enough to slip into your shirt pocket and I have used it with great success way over a mile. It has a whole bunch of channels so you can set it to the channel of other people in your hunting party who bought cheaper FRS radios that have less channels. They are about $90.00 a piece. You can find cheaper ones out there which may carry just as far. You will most often find that the biggest difference is in the numbers of channels they offer. These Kenwoods were very clear and very easy to use. I was very pleased with them. The call alarm is nice. Keep the little radio in your pocket and when your partner wants to talk at you he just hits the call button and a ringer goes off on yours. Oh, yea a little tip here. Check the volume before you go out. You don't want someone calling you when you are lining up a shot at a trophy Deer. The volume can be set low enough for just you to hear it and I suggest that is were you set it. These are quality radios and I believe if you are will to go the higher price you will be pleased with them.
