The Bottom Line:
Good if you don't want a subwoofer or tech support.
I purchased this kit thinking that it would be good. (Great would require lots of money). One thing I was hoping was that it would at least work. When I plugged hooked it up, the subwoofer didn't work. The only way to get it out of standby mode is to increase the volume to the maximum. (Be sure none of the other speakers are connected). Even at maximum, the volume was so low, that it would be just as good to plug in a 1 inch tweeter. So I exchanged the subwoofer for another and tried again. The new one also didn't work. I had the suspicion that it was the receiver, so took the receiver to the store and tried it on their demo subwoofer. It worked as it should. Therefore, my conclusion: two bad subwoofers. (I did try different cords in case you're wondering). I tried to contact tech support and they wouldn't respond. So my verdict: 2 bad subwoofers and no tech support means I don't like it.
