Kenwood KAC-8402 4-Channel Car Amp

I was at my local Best Buy and they had this amp on clearance priced to move. I couldn't resist so I bought it. I have it hooked up to a pair of Alpine 6x9s rated at 60rms and a pair of 5.25 Rockford Fosgate Components rated at 60rms. This amp really makes the components scream. The 6x9s used to over power them. You can hear my car not only loud but crystal clear when the volume is turned up. Install was typical for an amp. The amp has great styling with a lot of flashy looking aluminum. You have to remove an aluminum panel with an allen wrench to gain access to the gain controls. Its a bit tedious but then most amps have something like this. The amp itself is rock solid. Nice and heavy. The amp has a large footprint though. I have fold down seats in my 05 Toyota Corolla. The passenger side back seat was big enough for me to mount it on but not the driver's side. You want to leave a few inches around it so heat can disperse.
