I owned the mp3 capable version of this player --- the kdc-mp222. The player itself is designed for low-budget consumers. The features on the unit itself are rather limited. The preamp outputs are less than 2 volt making the addition of amplifiers troublesome. The unit is basically a cheap solution to aftermarket CD players.
