Kenwood KDC-6011

I was at the local store the other day, comparing various types of car stereos. I gave the Kenwood KDC-6011 a whirl. First off, the controls on the right side are a bit hard to read, especially when viewed from the driver's side. But that's hopefully a minor detail. The sound quality was above average, better than most that I've seen. If you've read my review on the Sony C4750, you'd know that my car amp had blown. I tried this model in the store. When you press the eject button, the faceplate rolls down, making the button conveniently located in the recesses of the stereo, and also making it somewhat inaccessible. It has great volume control, and adjustable bass frequency, not just a high/low range. The 18 FM stations that you can program should be enough for most people. The display is a bit razzle-dazzle, in the sense that it's too flashy, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem. But I don't think it's worth the $350 pricetag, unless you want the roll-down faceplate.
