Good value!
Pros
Easy installation. Good price. Good sound for FM changer.
Cons
Small buttons on controller. Lame color backlight (yellowish).
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Good value (if you can still find one)!
I wanted to maintain the stock look of my car and not have major installation headaches. The system in my car at present (1993 Ford stereo cassette) was not the greatest, so I figured that even an FM modulated CD changer would be good enough from a sound quality perspective.
So far I like the sound quality. I usually drive with the windows open so perfect sound reproduction is not needed. Sound is clean, but very high and very low frequencies are somewhat lacking. Some of this is likely caused by my stock head unit and speakers.
For true audiophiles you may want to ante up for a new head unit/integrated CD changer. Of course, you'll pay nearly double and have big installation headaches.
