The KDC-X959 plays your MP3 and WMA-encoded CD-R/RWs, as well as conventional CD, CD-R, and CD-RW discs. It can receive Radio Data System (RDS) broadcasts and is also ready for Sirius? Satellite Radio, meaning that 100 channels of digital programming can be beamed from satellites to your car - wherever you are!

A built-in 50 watts x 4 amplifier delivers smooth, efficient power, and the 4.5V pre-outs provide superior signal-to-noise performance. Our System E's Advanced Crossover System gives you the flexibility of an external 2-way electronic crossover, and our System Q EX Sound Control System provides advanced bass/treble/midrange control, either manually or with 5 preset curves, to get your music JUST how you want it. The unit's faceplate flips down for CD loading and is removable for security.
