I purchased the KTC-H2A1 with two home docks [one for my office] directly from Sirius on 10-24-05 and received the box on 11-4-05. It never worked properly and after several tries, the unit began sending an "antenna error" message. I found then that I couldn't even turn the power off!
Sirius customer service instructed me to contact Kenwood, and after speaking to three of their people over a couple of weeks, I gave up, stopped payment to Sirius on my AmEx, and sent the whole mess back to them.
Since I'd had a problem with them last holiday, I knew not to activate it until I KNEW the radio worked.
The unit "teases" by working for an hour or so before crapping out. I have had enough experience to let it run for a while to find the problems prior to activation.
