The Bottom Line:
If you get a good deal on it and don't plan on having very expensive speakers it would be a good system to get.
I bought this receiver really cheap off of UBID. I enjoy it quite bit. I have four speakers set up to it, and it sounds very good. The controls are very simple and to the point. It only takes a couple of button pushes to switch up the DSP settings and stuff. This receiver matches well with the 200 disc Kenwood changer. With one remote I can control both the receiver and the changer.
There are some minor set back to the system. The first one is that it does not take advantage of big speakers. My friend hooked up two speakers with 12" drivers, and they didn't seem to bump the bass as well as it did with his 12 year old Sony 50wattx2 receiver. This system is really designed to add on a separate powered subwoofer to get mind blowing bass. The only other set back is that at some times seems underpowered, but good for most normal use.
