The Bottom Line:
I like Kicker but go with whatever brand you chose to fit your listening style
I have been in car audio for around 15 years and when Kicker first came out with these "square" subs I was a bit hesitant to commit a full system to them, but three years ago I bought 2 L7 12" subs for my 1993 Jimmy S15 4 door and used a Kicker 1200.1 to power them... the results LOUD, very LOUD, I kept the system for 3 years until this March and stripped my trucks interior out ,seats, door panels, tailgate, roof, floors ,and Dynamatted the entire truck with 2 layers of Extreme Dynamat, put it all back together and behind the rear fold down seat installed a wall with {6} 2007 Kicker L7 12" subs , {3} Kicker ZX 1500.1 sub amps, 350 amp alternator,{4} batteries, and a custom podium for demos {burps}and its still an everyday driver, doing a LEGAL on the dash 164.8 doors shut windows up, so to all the skeptics who knock Kicker products , dont knock it til you try it and to those who say if you play them to much you will blow them,.... yeah ok right, if you turn your gain up all the way and dont really know how to really set it . ... email me and i can tell you how to really set your gain, bass boost etc....
