Great sound. Lovely warm Bass, silk smooth highs and a fantastic dynamic range with High SPL!!!. Gets really loud with very little power which very few speakers can accomplish at this price. Durability is no issue on account of Butyl surrounds used for the drivers.
Jazz, modern jazz, blues, country, rock et-all. you will not leave the room once they are hooked on to a good amplifier. I am using the Yamaha RXV540 receiver which has good reviews too and is being used in the stereo mode.
At this price combination of 1000 US$ it is a fantastic buy
and will take time to grow out of it too.
You have to give space for the speakers to breathe and certainly experimentation with the placement will fetch good results. It is a must.
