The Kodak Advantix Preview camera is a great idea well implemented. The Preview is the first film camera to provide a digital view of the captured picture on an LCD screen. The camera harnesses the unique attributes of the Advanced Photo System format to accomplish this.

From the moment I saw the Kodak Advantix Preview camera I knew I had to have it. At the time it was over three hundred dollars so I waited until the cost went down. I did eventually get my camera and cannot imagine using another one. I am partial to standard cameras versus digital as I do not care... Read full review »

Pros easy to use, great picture quality,no red eye
Cons APS film more expensive than 35 mm and costs more to develop
Recommended it? Yes

As a mother of a very active 15 month old I found myself taking picture after picture of my daughter with my 35mm. When I would get the pictures developed I would realize that I had numerous shots of the same exact pose or realize that my daughter had moved when I took the shot. This was especially... Pros set number of copies desired, can review shots
Cons preview screen is only effective indoors - otherwise, forget it!
Recommended it? No

I bought this camera because I liked the idea of being able to preview my shots and selecting whether or not to print them, and how many copies of each. The pictures develop beautifully, and the ability to switch rolls midway through is also a big plus. However, being that we're at baseball 6 days... Read full review »

I got this camera in September of 2002 for my wedding. I wanted a camera to take with me on our wedding, and along on the honeymoon. At the time, I did not have easy access to a computer, so a digital camera was not a wise buy. So I shopped around, and finding the Kodak Preview camera seemed to be... Read full review »

I love being able to view the shot I just took, to know whether or not I got the shot I wanted , you can choose between 0-9 copies for developing & if you chose 0 you don't pay for a picture you didn't want, but remember even if you chose 0 you are still using room on the roll of film. I love the... Read full review »
