This summer I decided I needed an All-in-One Printer and did some research and since I have a Kodak Camera picked the new 5500 AIO Printer on Amazon.com.  They showed two places where this model could be ordered and since I am an Amazon Premium member and could get this unit shipped free so went... Pros Beautiful pictures, uses half the ink, multiple uses
Cons None

I am a Kodak child!

My father was a freelance photographer, so the brand name of Kodak is like a long lost cousin to me. Before the days of digital cameras, I always used the Kodak brand throw away cameras, because I can always trust their products. They are the top of the line in... Read full review »

Pros Size, quality of print, easy to use.
Cons Hmmm, color ink price?
Recommended it? Yes

I seriously love my new printer. It was a gift from my husband. He wanted to buy a new laser printer but the price ranges were beyond our budget and the sizes would sink our boat! We live on a boat and I needed a scanner, printer and copier. I couldn't have all three... or so I thought. Then my... Read full review »

Pros Fast, quality prints Affordable ink Prints dry immediately, no edge trimming needed
Cons Each 4x6 costs closer to .25 than .10 Kodak claims.
Recommended it? Yes

My HP 4100C scanner and HP 932c Printer were both on their last legs, so I was excited to pick this model up. I have had it for 3 weeks now, and it has not disappointed.

Scans are wonderful quality, you can scan several prints at a time, and you don't have to align them carefully on the... Read full review »

NO LINUX SUPPORT, buggy software, WILL NOT SCAN when "out of ink"

bycmgts1 May 3, 2009

Pros Solidly built, no better photos per print cost anywhere.
Cons Heavy. Large. Will not scan when out of ink. Lousy text scanning. NO LINUX.
Recommended it? No

Almost two years ago, I let my son take my canon mp130 to college with him. It is a great AIO with dirt cheap ink cost if generics used. I had gotten used to the freedom of printing without real concern for cost as $25 worth of generic ink lasted almost two years.

In trying to keep to that... Read full review »

We have had this printer almost a year, since it first came out.
I kept my old (gravity feed) printer running for a while so that I could continue to do many create things with my printer.

The main thing that my old printer could do, but this one can't is

Print on PARTIAL Sheets of... Read full review »

Great First Generation

Pros Low ink cost
Cons Three three star KODAK paper is not too good.
Recommended it? Yes

I have tested this printer. It is quite good. There are several improvements needed, but all in all it is a great printer. The cost of ownership is fair and you can recoup your investment in one or two ink re-supplys compared to HP and EPSON. That is a huge plus. I wish it would print black when it... Read full review »

I have been watching out for this printer for the past few months because the idea of saving ink is a big deal and noticed that my local Best Buy had 4 in stock so I ran out and picked one up for my wife. I had been hesitant since there wasn't a single review on the net about it and I was afraid... Read full review »

I'm a small business owner as well as a mom to three kids which means LOTS of pictures. I bought this product so we could finally print a lot of pictures without much thought to the household budget.
I am happy to report that I have gotten more prints per cartridge than Kodak estimates, and the quality is wonderful, I have never seen prints so crisp and colorful. Plain paper... Read full review »
