The Bottom Line:
Buy for normal, regular use. I suggest spending more on a better camera though.
I bought this camera a few years ago and had used it through out my college education. It was good for pictures at the bars and family outings and such...but not so good for concerts or other stuff at night where you are sitting further away.
However, the picture quality is awesome! With the 12 megapixel it prints out really good pictures. It is very easy to use with just your standard point and click option. There are also many different settings on the camera which are standard on most of the newer digital cameras.
Although with all of the different settings, only a few you can actually use without a tripod. If on those settings and you are trying to hold it and steady it with you hands, the pictures mostly come out fuzzy off centered.
It's a good camera for your everday basic use. If you want to take it to night events such as concerts or something, it is really bad...unless you have a tripod where it can be steady for a long period of time. Otherwise it comes out very very fuzzy! I suggest spending a little extra money to get a better camera, unless you want it for normal home use.
