Pros inexpensive, high megapixels, lightweight, great resolution, easy to use, high zoom,...
Cons noise in review, battery drainer, jitters if in default mode,
Recommended it? Yes

I've had my Kodak Z1285 for over a year now and still love it. I love it more than my boyfriend's camcorder!
I bought my Kodak Z1285 from newegg.com after researching it via walmart.com, as well as other review sites. I figured as a Walmart employee I'd get a decent discount, but I was wrong. I... Read full review »

Pros Fair price, clear pictures, easy to use, small and convenient.
Cons It doesn't come with memory card and batteries nees constant changing or charging.
Recommended it? Yes

I have had my Kodak EASYSHARE Z1285 digital camera for almost a year now and I have to say it's been the best quality camera I have ever had. It takes clear quality pictures but it is very easy to use.

Some of the new technology out there can be very complicated and hard to figure out. I... Read full review »

Not Bad

Pros Small, easy to use, good resolution, high mexapixels, good price
Cons Fuzzy review mode, bad macro, cheap lens
Recommended it? Yes

I received this camera as a birthday present, upgrading from a 4.0 megapixel Kodak, and have owned it for about 4 months.  For the most part I have been very pleased.  It does take beautiful pictures, small enough to carry even when doing mild hiking, and seems to be durable(not cheap plastic).  It... Kodak has better cameras than this one

Pros 12 Megapixels goes from wide angle to tight zoom with this lens.
Cons Battery hog and does not always take clean pictures even if you use a tripod.
Recommended it? No

I just purchased the Kodak Easy Share Z1285 at Circuit City going out of business sale. It ended up costing $160 for a 12 Meg. with 5 times zoom seemed like a great deal. I went with Kodak because I had an earlier model easy share LS753 which is a great camera. So far this new camera has features I... Read full review »

Pros Easy to use, reasonably priced, good zoom
Cons Big time battery drainer, bad at night pics (concerts and such)
Recommended it? No

I bought this camera a few years ago and had used it through out my college education. It was good for pictures at the bars and family outings and such...but not so good for concerts or other stuff at night where you are sitting further away.

However, the picture quality is awesome! With... Read full review »

Pros As good as digitals ten times the cost. This is my third Kodal digital camera
Cons Terrible customer service.A year of regular use and the battery door breaks.
Recommended it? Yes

Best value but be cautious of the plastic body and cheap battery cover. I was hesitant at first to buy another Kodak digital but here I am with the third one in three years. My only issue was it eats batteries and the constant use of the battery door results in it cracking after a year. They always... Read full review »

Good pictures but has drawbacks

byBigDaddy007 Apr 11, 2010
Helpful? 1 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Easy to Use, Excellent Picture Quality, Lightweight
Cons Short Battery Life
Recommended it? No

I bought the camera 2 years ago. I took the first one back because the batteries only lasted about 10 pictures. The second one isn't any better. Also, the jack where you plug the cord from the computer doesn't always make a good connection. Read full review »

Great Quality Pictures and Videos but High Battery Drain

byM.W.L. Apr 8, 2010
Helpful? 1 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Simple Setup, Stylish, Quality lens
Cons Poor Image Stabilization, No Viewfinder, Slower in continuous shooting
Recommended it? Yes

We've owned this camera for...a bit over a year I believe. It is great, HD is amazing, but it drains batteries, energizer, duracell, rayovac, and whatever brand you may use very quickly. Maybe you can get 20 pictures, if you are lucky, with one pair of AA batteries. I would recommend getting... Read full review »

Pros Easy to Use, Excellent Picture Quality, Lightweight
Cons Short Battery Life

I recieved this camera as a birthday gift.  It produces good quality pictures for a camera that didnt cost way too much. I have no problems with it other than the fact that the battery life is very short.  We fixed this problem by getting rechargable batteries.  The display screen is... Read full review »
