The Bottom Line:
I believe this is a great camera for regular people. It's not too advanced, but it still has a lot of options.
My previous camera had died because the screen broke when my lovely toddler got his hands onto it, so when looking for a new camera, I wanted something a little more durable. I also wanted a kodak since my previous camera was a kodak, and i had a million pictures already on the software, so why stray?
I needed a camera that was fast at taking pictures (excuse my amateur sounding since I cannot remember the correct term for this), considering I have two young toddlers, and they move fast, and I want GOOD pictures of them.
This camera is lightweight, fast, long lasting batteries, and my pictures come out lovely. I also learned from my mistakes and always keep it out of toddler hands, so I'm not sure how durable it is.
I love this camera, but I'm no photographer. All i do is take pictures of my family and events concerning my family. I don't think this sort of camera would be good for real photographers, just based on my instinct alone.
There is a problem with it tends to freeze for a few seconds at random. This is the biggest con that it has. It gives no warning when it freezes, and it lasts from around 5 to 20 seconds. Very frustrating when you're trying to get a good shot in.
