Bad Experiences
Pros
Good only for beginners and those who forgot their cameras.
Cons
They malfunction and take less quality photographs most of the time
Recommended it?
No
The Bottom Line:
Get yourself a digital camera and save money in the long run
Intro
I love to take pictures and have for some time. I have taken and developed film myself. I have several 35mm SLR cameras and two digital cameras.
The Facts
Single use cameras or disposable cameras are only good for beginers and people who know very little about photography, or unless you forget to bring your camera, as we all do from time to time. Don't let the famous Kodak name fool you, you will not get the best quality from point and shoot cameras as this one. The flash is low powered and will not give you good shots in dark areas or places with limited light.
In most of them you get between 18 and 24 pictures, os unless you buy a lot of them and spend a lot of money, becareful to get accurate shots the first time. They can be bulky to carry around if you buy several. The film advancement mechanisms stick sometimes and it is difficult to take pictures if you cannot advance film.
I recently forgot my camera and purchased three at a navla museum in Columbus, Georgia, I had to take all three back to the register as none of them worked properly. This alone took up a lot of time and I missed some of lecture. The price for these can be cost from $7.00 and up. Think about this 20 of them will cost you as much as a inexpensive digital camera that you can use over and over and get better quality pictures.
Summary
Sometimes you only get one time to take a great picture or a picture of your child walking for the first time, so why trust it to a camera that might not work or malfunction. Your pictures are a storybook of your life's experiences and those close to you, you deserve a camera that you can depend on. Most Digital cameras are easy, even for beginners and will give you better quality and a whole lot more photo,s.
I do not like disposable camera's, unless of course it is an emergengy, such as forgeting to bring your camera.
You waste a lot of time and money buying disposables and get get less quality. Oh! by the way the photographs I took at the museum were almost all bad quality and dark. One last thing digital cameras or more expensive 35mm cameras will deliver better quality in dark areas.
Bottom Line
I would only buy this or any other disposable if I forgot my camera. As I said earlier the quality is not good for most of pictures that you want to have for a lifetime of memories. They malfunction alot and are also noisy with that little clicking sound as you wind the film.
