Sleek but Weak Phone
I bought this phone about a year and a half ago. I bought it for its sleek, ultra-compact design - and its beautiful blue keypad. The phone is an awesome size, and was one of the coolest cells around when I had bought it. Everything on the Kyocera worked wonderfully - battery life, reception, easy... Read full review »
Will never buy a Kyocera again!
I bought my Kyocera 5135 or S14 flip phone in January 2004. Already it is broken and I am going to have to go get it repaired or else replaced because the thing no longer works correctly. When I first got my phone, I noticed a few flaws about it. The battery life on this phone wasn't something I... Read full review »
Love my little phone!
I've had my 5135 for about a year. It's great! I'm finicky about cell phones...I had a Nokia piece of junk for about 6 weeks and couldn't stand its utter "user-unfriendliness". The 5135 is very user friendly by comparison, and if you don't require every last bell and whistle, it is more than... Read full review »
pretty good phone
I bought this phone to replace a less expensive model of Kyocera phones. It all the same features of the cheaper model, except that it is a flip phone instead of a regular handset. I like the blue color, and the different options. There is only one game, "Brick Attack" and it isn't very fun. Some... Read full review »

I love my phone, but wouldn't buy another one.
I bought the Kyocera 5135 because it was nice and small, and had the cool look and some of the gadgets I wanted: alarm-clock, calculator, stop-watch, timer, lots of phone-number storage, cool ring tones ( downloadable ones too), access to the internet, text-message capability, lit-up screen for... Kyocera 5135 Mobile Phone
I have had this phone for just over 2 years and have always really liked it for reception and clarity. However, the phone now powers up with a "service required" message. Even though the Kyocera site says this "may" be fixed with a re-flash, the kyocera service centers indicate the phone cannot be... Read full review »
Has it's strong points.
I got this phone a couple years ago and never thought I had a problem until I was in a rural area and dropped a call. I then borrowed a customer's Nokia and retried and had no problem with reception. He has the same carrier. This irritated me so I purchased a Motorola V60s. Dynamite reception... Read full review »

KYOCERA 5135
Great Phone! I tried the Motorola T-720 and wasn't happy. This little phone ROCKS! Awesome battery life, small, compact size, great neon blue display, clarity is as good or better than my nextel I-90. I have the Kyocera 3325 also, both great phones. I've dropped this phone, gotten it damp, etc, and... Read full review »
