Nice at first glance...disappointment later on
Pros
Small, lightweight, and it has a screen on the outside.
Cons
no web browser, not ring tone compatible, and not many features.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
I would definintely recommend this phone to anyone who just wants a basic phone, with no features, just a phone to talk with.
I just recently got my lg 1010 from a radio shack store. The retailer was persistent on me getting this phone. I was searching for another phone (this being my 5th one), because the one that I have now broke. When he showed me the lg 1010 I fell in love with it. Its small, lightweight and the best feature of all was that it has a screen on the outside where you can see the time, date and whose calling. The phone retails for $99.99, but luckily that day it was on sale for $69.99. Being that you dont find many phones at that price I decided to buy it.
**Pros**
-Lightweight
-small
-Outside screen display
-retracable antenna
-comes in different colors. ex: gray, purple, and blue.
-durable battery life. Although I think so far that the battery has lasted me, doesnt mean that it might last other people. What I mean by that is that I am not the type of person who stays on the phone that much, if you are maybe this phone isnt for you. It only has 2.5 talk time.
**Cons**
-No web browser
-Horrible ring tones, and not ring tone compatitible
-small screen
-the screen on the other side is also pretty small
-It basically lacks features.
Last advice-
Would I recommend this phone to a friend? Perhaps. Its a nice phone, and for the price I paid I dont see anything wrong with it. Could it be better? well yes. But then again I cant complain being that this Lg is an older model. If you are basically searching for a durable, small, convient phone. Without the many unneccessary features, and at half the price, then I would definitely recommend the lg 1010. If you are into the high tech technology and want everything you can possible want in one phone, then my advice would be to search else where.
