My husband had been wanting a new TV for sometime, so I decided to surprise him with one.
After doing a ton of research it was between The 47in LG and the 50in Sony. I then knew i must go to a store to see both of the TVs in person to do a real side by side comparison.
Once at the store I saw there was no comparing the two. The LG was the winner. I ended up buying this TV because of the clear vivid screen. Even the non HD channels look amazing. The best part is that you can see the screen perfectly at any angle, direct view or side view. For example we can see the blades of grass on the football feild. Also the LG's appearance is so sleek and clean looking, very appealing to the eye. My husband is so happy with his new LG HD 47" TV.
