Beautiful TV, good price

The Bottom Line:
Good TV at a good price.
I got a sweet deal on this at Sears ($956-10%-$100 gas card + tax = $816), so I bought it without having seen one personally. But I was not disappointed. The picture is beautiful. The set looks classy, with a single piece of glass over the entire front, and "invisible speakers" hidden who-knows-where, but they sound great.
A couple times now I have chuckled at the bad English translations the menus used ("Which input do you want to enjoy?", "Which channel would you like to appreciate?"). Having lived in Korea, it brought back memories.
The printed manual was not detailed enough but the PDF manual on the included CD was pretty good.
One feature I was looking forward to was being able to plug into the USB port to look at pictures with a big group. That worked, but, oddly, the TV had no respect for the sort order of my photos. It scrambled the order in the file list (YC007.jpg, YC023.jpg, YC002.jpg, YC091.jpg...no apparent order), which made the slide show less impressive because we couldn't watch the pictures in their intended order.
The blacks don't seem to be as deep as they could be, but we're watching in a dark room, so maybe I notice it more. Overall a nice picture, though.
