This HDTV is a great large screen option for your home. We bought this TV about 6 months ago and are pretty satisfied with the performance. The TV itself is quite heavy and took some extra attention getting it into place. The glare from the plasma screen is the typical glare experienced on any other plasma TV (if you dont want the glare buy a LED or LCD screen). Colors are vibrant on this TV, and we have no negative feelings except the weight of thr TV and the glare. We knew about the glare before we purchased though, so it's not a big deal if placed in an area not opposite a lot of lighting. The sound on this set is remarkably clean and crisp for some in-set speakers. My 37" Vizio LCD tv sounds muffled compared to the LG. Buy with confidence!
