Recommended it? Yes

I bought this model back in July 2005 and I am 100% pleased with its performance. I was looking for a DTV set top box that would not only receive local DTV but surrounding areas as well. I really did my homework before settling on this one. This is the one to buy. It will work with an indoor antenna but an outdoor antenna is recommended for best results.This unit also has a program guide. Also great for those that are into long distance tv reception.
