Great Terrestrial Tuner

Pros Rock Solid. Analog ghosts and snow are GONE !!!
Cons Absolutely none. Go for it !
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  BUY BUY BUY ! This unit is packed with cool features and capabilities. If you can pull in a halfway decent signal this unit will not let you down.
Picked one up today for $174.01 including tax at Comp USA / Good Guys in San Jose, CA. Even though this was an out of box clearance, it DID have the remote and I downloaded the manual from the www.lge.com web site. This LST-4200A is FANTASTIC. I am using it with an NTSC Sony 27 inch TV. The S-Video cable and an optical cable feed a Sony STR-DA4ES AV receiver amplifier that feeds the TV as well as a complete large-speaker surround system. This terrestrial ATSC receiver seems to have no flaws, and hopefully will last for years, at least until the HTDVs eventually evolve into something I might want to buy. One of its MANY features is that it has an on-screen signal strength meter and I am in a good spot with a good conventional outdoor TV antenna and so the signal strength typically shows at 50% of full scale. I get 33 digital channels (in addition to all the analog channels). I'm getting rock solid reception with NO pixelation programs. And a great investment to run a future projector or maybe someday "contribute" to poor folks or relatives when the analog signals snap off the air.
