Great Phone, A Few Problems
Pros
Battery Life, mp3 player, FM transmitter
Cons
Pocket lint in screen, some annoying quirks
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Good phone for someone who wants useful features for the average person, albeit runs on the same software as the other cheap Verizon phone; nothing too special
I got this phone free on one of Verizon's 3-day sales (normally $69.99). I have had this phone for almost a year now and it still functions well for me. From the day I got it, it has had amazing battery life. I usually only need to charge it once a week, and I use it often for texting, calling, and listening to music. The FM transmitter is useful, but it does drain the battery quickly but I rarely use it anyway. When I first got it, fingerprints on the front and keypad were pretty bad. I had a screen protector coming in the mail that fixed the front, but the keypad is still always covered in them. The first time I put it in my pocket (how I normally carry it), I noticed that pocket lint gets behind the glass of both screens (the inside is a lot worse), and you cannot get it out. The screen protector for the inside screen didn't help, but it did with the outside. It is not too bad in inside and low lighting, but it makes it hard to see in bright light because the little dust particles reflect sunlight and most of the screen turns white. After having the music memory nearly full, you can definitely tell that it is getting a bit slower and there is sometimes lag in the menus, but overall it has been a very good phone. The software sometimes gets confused when you are using the outside and it thinks the keypad is locked, so you have to open it and close it again, but it is only occasional and not too annoying.
