Convenient single DVI-D output for both sources. HDTV and upscaled DVD work great.
Pros
HDTV OTA sensitivity, unscrambled cable HDTV compatibility, excellent upscaled DVD picture, single DVI-D output
Cons
Would have liked lighted buttons on remote.

This is my 3rd HDTV box and my 3rd upscaling DVD player. In terms of HDTV from over-the-air stations, it is very sensitive--even my basement antenna receives the majority of local stations. It also picks up unscrambled cable HDTV (Comcast) broadcasts nicely. As an upscaling DVD player, it is the first I have owned whose contrast can be set properly according to the THX Optimizer. The others I have cannot differentiate the 8 white boxes through the digital video (actually HDMI) output and can look washed out on bright scenes. The upscaled DVD images (720P) on this player are noticeably cleaner than than progressive (480P) images, though of course not up to the quality of HDTV broadcasts. Having a single DVI-D out for both sources is very convenient, as most HDTV monitors (I have a Mitsubishi HC900U projector) only have one DVI-D input. Through the DVI-D output, both HDTV and DVD pictures are excellent.
