The Bottom Line:
I'd suggest this phone to anyone who needed a good reliable phone with few frills.
I got my first LX350 in August of 2006. I dropped it two months later and it came apart very easily at the place where the top is connected to the bottom. The phone was replaced and I promptly did the same thing again.
The early additions of this phone were great and very user-friendly, but they were not very durable. I'm guessing more than a few LG buyers had the same problems because I noticed that the next phone I got was MUCH more durable and lasted me forever.
This phone is great for someone who wants to use the phone for it's original intended purpose: MAKING CALLS. It is, however, Bluetooth-capable, but I don't use that function as I think people who walk around talking to themselves look stupid, insane, or both.
My carrier was Sprint and I RARELY ever lost calls or went out of service area with this phone. I had a friend with a basement everyone jokingly called "The Dead Zone" because of its lack of service. MY phone WORKED with a full set of bars down there.
The photo capabilities were the best standard ones on the market when this phone was released and it takes EXCELLENT pictures for a cell phone. I recently replaced the phone with a Rumor and the photos are nowhere near as good. The LX350 even has a flash.
The last LX350 I got lasted for nearly two years. I was so sad to see it go when it finally died. It was the best and most reliable phone. I wish I'd been able to get a newer, upgraded one just like it.
