LG enV Touch VX11000 Cell Phone

In the last year or two I entered the worldwide frenzy of text messaging and I've never looked back.  Then I was faced with an imminent need for a cell phone that had a keyboard to make texting much easier.  We headed to our local Verizon store to upgrade our phones and my husband and I both left with our sleek new LG enV Touch phones.

At first I was a bit overwhelmed with all the new technology and switching brands means new features as well.  But it didn't take long to take control of this gem of a phone.  I was in heaven!

The phone has a TON of features but I will talk about the ones that I have actually used myself.  First of all I love the functionality of the phone... there are multiple ways to navigate through menus and commands so it is very user friendly.  The touch screen is really nice and after using a friend's Blackberry (where I had to PRESS the screen and it was really frustrating to use) I was very impressed.  The screen is a nice size (3 inches) and it is touch sensitive so there is no need to PUSH on the screen. It doesn't take forever to type or press comands if you use the touch screen.  The phone also flips open to a full keyboard which is very handy and easy to use.  The buttons on the keyboard are the perfect size and I am very pleased with how well the keyboard works.

This phone has internet capability which is very convenient also.  And it doesn't cost nearly as much as the Blackberry service!  So with my LG enV Touch I can still get online to check email, visit Facebook or any other website.. so why would I need a Blackberry?  I can do everything I need on this phone and I pay less than half the service price.  LOVE it! 

Another feature I use a lot is the camera.  My previous phone had a really bad camera in it so I am excited to have such a nice camera phone now!  The camera in the LG enV Touch is very easy to operate and it takes great pictures.  I did figure out that lighting is key with this camera but once you know how to work the lighting or the flash settings, the picture quality is pretty darn good! The video camera works really great also.  You can video up to 1 minute at a time on this phone. It takes great picture quality and audio is great too.

When I actually use my phone to TALK on, I have never had any problems.  It has great clarity and reception and I very rarely drop calls (if I'm in a service area).  The only issue I have had is battery related.  My battery never dies, but on the display it shows that I only have a little bit of battery life left after it's previously been charged up.  I think it's just a fluke with the battery icon on the phone because like I said, I've never lost battery power on the phone and I use it a LOT.  If it does become an issue I will simply take it to Verizon and get a replacement battery.

The phone is also very durable... unfortunately I have dropped it a few times but it has never seemingly affected the phone or its functionality.  I do have a protective cover on it now to prevent scratching.  Verizon also put a thin, clear cover on the screens for us so they don't get scratched up. 

Overall I'm very happy with this phone and I would recommend it to anyone.  Especially if you like to text message a lot or if you would like internet capability without the super high cost of Blackberry service.  The phone comes with a user manual, rechargable lithium ion battery and a Wall/USB Charger. I am a satisfied LG enV Touch customer!
