Pros Easy to carry around, lets you stay connected
Cons Everything is an additional cost
Recommended it? Yes

The LG enV VX9900 Cell Phone known as the LG enV was my first venture into the world of cell phones. I spend most of my time at my boyfriend's house these days, and he, like most people does not have a home phone, so it was time for a cellular phone to keep in touch, and in case of emergencies... A GREAT phone, although I could think of a few ways to improve it

bybeeda338 Jun 11, 2008

Pros Full keypad, great navigation system, easy to use
Cons Not great with email/internet, small inbox for texting
Recommended it? Yes

I'll start this off by saying that since buying my first phone with a QWERTY keypad (the V...enV's predecessor), I will never go back to your regular cell again. If you are a texter, this phone is perfect. I've been marveled at plenty of times for how fast I text; but it's just because I've had a... Read full review »

This was my very first phone. Running down on christmas morning and seeing this on my fire place was such a rush. I loved this phone and it was very good to me.

Quality: This phone suprisingly is very durable. Over the years of having it i droped it many times but it never ever broke on me... Read full review »

Pros Comfortable to use, great sound, keyboard and picture.
Cons Monthly service costs more for some features
Recommended it? Yes

I had the LG 9800, the predecessor to this model. I adored that phone, right up until I lost it somewhere between the departure gate in Reno and security in LAX. Never going to get THAT back.
It was a year old and 9800 model was no longer available at Verizon so I got the 9900. There were a... Read full review »

Cons The service on this phone could be better.
Recommended it? Yes

Are there just some products you just can’t imagine living without?  I have one of these devices that makes my life much easier, it’s almost unbelievable.  Growing up I never had a cell phone, and didn’t know what life was like until I owned my very own.  It has become an everyday part of my... Great phone for texting or web service

byslowmo618 Jun 18, 2008

Pros Qwerty keyboard, slim and convenient, large internal screen, long battery life
Cons medium antenna, not the most durable, can't use all features when phone is closed
Recommended it? Yes

I am an avid texter and the qwerty keyboard makes life so much easier!!! This phone also has a very nice camera; the clarity of which is often nicer than my $200 camera. The larger screen inside is also much more convenient for surfing the web, looking up news or weather etc. The phone is fairly... Read full review »

For texters only!

Pros 2.0 mega pixel camera, full size keyboard, stereo speakers
Cons small inbox, no games, sound quality
Recommended it? Yes

I am very picky about phones, none every make me 100% happy. This phone comes pretty close. It has stereo speakers that make music sound muck better than most phones. It also has most functions working on the outside of the phone and all working on the inside. This seems weird but it is nice to be... Read full review »

Easy to use, QWERTY keyboard rules!

Pros QWERTY keyboard for easy texting, simple menu choices and plenty of extras
Cons Outer screen scratches easily, and it is a little chunky
Recommended it? Yes

I love my green LG enV VX990 Cell Phone. I chose this phone primarily for the QWERTY keyboard. Unlike most texters, I type two handed just like a keyboard. When it is folded open the camera lens creates an uneven base so I glued a metal flower on one side to balance it so I could type without it... Read full review »

Pros Good clear camera Qwerty keyboard Excellent battery life Noticeable vibrate Good sound...
Cons Slightly large overall size Loud vibrate No touchscreen
Recommended it? Yes

First off, this is the fifth cell phone that I have owned, and the first one with a qwerty keyboard. I am big into texting, and like phones with all the latest and greatest features. After looking at all of the phones and weighing out the pros and cons of them, I decided on the enV due to its price... Read full review »

I liked it...

Pros Full keyboard, loud speakers, flash camera.
Cons Gets confused easily.
Recommended it? Yes

I had an Orange EnV. I traded it for the EnV2. I love it even more. It's sleeker. So, my honest opinion, don't buy it unless you are a serious texter. Otherwise, the keyboard is pointless. So think it through! Cuz after awhile, everything gets boring. Read full review »
