The Envy: My Life Organizer

Cons The service on this phone could be better.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:

Looking for a long lasting phone with good service in town? Do you need an organizer?  The Envy is your answer.

Are there just some products you just can’t imagine living without?  I have one of these devices that makes my life much easier, it’s almost unbelievable.  Growing up I never had a cell phone, and didn’t know what life was like until I owned my very own.  It has become an everyday part of my attire.  Everywhere I go, so does my cell phone. Cell phones are now used for more than just phone calls, and they have become amazingly advanced in a short amount of time.

Texting

Texting is the “in thing” when it comes to cell phones these days.  When going to make plans for the night or say hi to someone it is rarely done over a phone call anymore. Texting can be done when you are too busy to actually engage in a real conversation.  With texting being so in, I would defiantly suggest my product, the Envy. Not only, does it have a front key pad like a regular phone, but u can flip it open and there is a keyboard.  This inside keyboard makes texting extremely fast, and much easier.  My friends and I often have contests to see who can type out the same sentence the fastest.  Another girl and I, that has the Envy as well, always win.  I have to say that this has to do with the keyboard, because you only have to push the button once to select the letter that is wanted.  This feature is one of my favorite parts about this phone.

Pictures

The picture features are great on this phone.  Just like with texting, the pictures can be taken or looked at on two different screens.  This is an awesome option because if am busy and just want to glance at the picture I will just view it on the front screen. If I want to get a really good look at the picture I will open it up and look on the inside, because this screen is almost twice as big. When taking a picture on the Envy, you will find that it takes a few seconds to process after you push the “ok” button.  With this it is hard to catch things in motion, but it’s great for still life pictures.  Sometimes this feature can be a pain, but it helps the picture quality immensely.  Out of the other two phones I have had, the Razor and Juke, it by far takes the best pictures.  Not only does the Envy take the best pictures out of those two, but it also has 2.0 megapixels.  The average megapixels on phones are around 1.3. This is another great feature that I love about the Envy.

Service

Service quality is a major factor that people look for when choosing a phone.  This phone doesn’t have the “best” service. For example, I can be in my basement texting in the exact same spot.  Sometimes I will have full service, and at times I will have none. I think this is the downfall of this produce, but in and around town the service is pretty good.  I travel quite a bit to Salt Lake City and Laramie.  When going on these trips I know I can pretty much rely on my phone to have service. There are few dead spots along the way, but that comes with every phone.

Durability

The durability of this phone amazes me.  I can say with full proof that this phone has been by far more durable then my last two phone I have had.  I drop it once a day at least, and it still works pretty well.  I mean it has a few glitches every now and then, but it has held up amazingly well for how hard I am on it. I even dropped it in a huge rain puddle, and it worked just as it had done before.  I thought that was an incredible recovery. Some of the problems I have faced are, that after I drop it-it will freeze up, and I just end up having to turn it off and then back on again. My bottom row of lights on the inside keyboard don’t light up, and sometimes my texts don’t send the first time.  This rarely happens though, and I have come to believe that just like people even cell phones have their off days.

Extra features

Cell phones have become increasingly advanced over the years.  I can remember back to when my grandpa had his first cell phone. It was one of those huge ones that u put in a case, and have to carry around with you.  Don’t get me wrong those phones had amazing service, but they didn’t have the convienence like the ones today.   The Envy is small enough to fit in your pocket, and it has vast amounts of extra features that previous phones never had.  I take my Envy everywhere with me.  It has a calendar that I put important dates on so I don’t forget, I use the alarm clock every day to wake me up so I’m on time for class, and the thing I use the most is the keyboard for texting.  There is also an option to use a Bluetooth with this phone, but I have never used it. These are just the major extra features about this phone that make it so convenient and helpful.

My overall opinion on this phone is that I would recommend it.  I love the keyboard; it makes texting very easy for me. I also enjoy being able to flip my phone open, and see a bigger picture.  Having the extra megapixels defiantly enhances the picture quality, and that is a major plus to the Envy. If I need to remember an important date I put it in my phone.  The Envy is more than a phone it’s a calendar, alarm clock, camera, and communication device all in one.  That is why it is just like a piece of clothing for me. I don’t go anywhere without it, because it is so useful and organizing for everything throughout my day.
