Great little phone

Pros Small, lightweight, lots of features, generally user friendly.
Cons Sound quality seems inconsistent. Not sure if it is the phone or service.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  A small, light, well thought out, highly featured, user friendly phone. If you are moving to digital or need a dual mode phone I would recommend it.
I got the LG-V111 because digital service had gotten cheaper than analog. I was surprised by the lightness and the features. Verizon provides web and e-mail access (3 months free then $6.95/mo.) that the phone can access. Good stuff if you need it.
I moved from a Nokia 252 which I used for 1 1/2 years with no problems. The Nokia is heavy and bulky by comparison with far fewer features. I had to buy a special battery to go to a vibrator mode with the Nokia. The V111 comes with it as a standard feature and can be put into "manners mode" with the press of one button.
The V111 also has volume control buttons on the side that work for ring volume, button press volume as well as receiver volume.
The only thing I don't care for is that to get a full listing of the names in your phone book you have to go through a number of key presses. It is not too bad, but I was used to one button on the Nokia.
As far as the buttons themselves - I have fairly large hands but have not found them to be a problem at all. The buttons are actually larger than my Nokia, and better lit.
I also have had some times when I found the sound quality suffered, but I am not certain why. Most of the time it is very clear.
It is a "flip phone" but you do not have to use it that way. You have the option of answering by pressing the exposed send button or opening the flip door. You can access nearly all the features including the phone book from the exposed buttons. The only time you have to open the flip is if you need to use the alpha-numeric buttons or want to throw it into silent mode. I have also set my phone up so that the light turns on when I open the phone. (There are other options even for the backlight!)
So far I find it to be a great little phone with tons of features.
