It gave me more than my money's worth

Compact, Loud, Not Expensive.
Cons
Microphone quality is scratchy, Headphone jack pops out of adaptor sometimes.

Anybody who is looking for a compact, rich sounding, affordable speakers the Labtec LCS-150 is the right product for you. Starting at $29.99 it gave more than what I expected from $30 speakers, I felt it gave me the same quality of $100 speakers.
Compact:
With a base of 4 inches, It takes up very little space on my desktop. It is small enough that where most computer speakers are lunky and huge and have to be placed next to each other, the Labtec LCS-150 can be placed on each side of the monitor and can fully optimize the use of stereo sound.
Powerful:
The 2 speakers (1.85 watts) have a excellent bass boost and are by any means not quiet speakers. When I cranked them up to the highest volume setting and put on an MP3, I could hear the music all through the house very clearly. I had not expected this and was stunned at the quality of the sound at such high volume.
Weaknesses:
There are not too many weaknesses in the Labtec LCS-150. One weakness is that when you try to put headphones in the jack, it pops out or goes halfway in. Another weakness it the the microphone gets very scratchy quality.
