These speaker were bought for $130 each including shipping!
I put 2 of these subwoofers in a sealed box and bridged them down to 0.5 ohms and hooked them up to the opti2000d amplifier. These subs pushed an incredible low bass! I couldn't believe how far the subs moved from peak to peak excursion. I wouldn't doubt they moved 6"! If you buy these subs you won't be disapointed! Yes, they really do handle 1100 RMS. With the aluminum cone, these subs will disapate huge amounts of heat. Your ears will blow before these subs do! You can hear me a mile away easilly with these speakers! In a cab and a half dodge dakota (1999) I have measured 135 dbs at like 20HZ! That's really loud at such a deep bass. I am in the process of building a ported box and I'm sure I can hit the 145 db mark at 40 HZ.
